Tamu Samaj Victoria’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held on 13/Aug/2017 10:30am to 4pm at Coburg Library, Coburg, in the presence of 29 members. As per agenda of the meeting:

 

1/ President, Mr Pahalman Gurung, presented an overview of the activities during the period of 1/07/2016 to 30/06/2017.

 

2/ Treasurer Mr Dipu Gurung and Assistant Treasurer Mr Milan Gurung presented the financial report for FY 2016/17. They also addressed questions regarding accounting, banking, tax returns, grants, etc.

 

3/ Election of new committees for term 2017-19 was held, and the new committees are as follows

4/ Several amendments on Tamu Samaj Victoria’s constitution were discussed and approved, the executive committee will lodge the amendments with Consumer Affairs.

 

5/ Cultural centre project update was presented by Coordinator Mr Arun Gurung. Due to time limitation, full update was not possible, and to complete in next meeting.

 

Tamu Samaj Victoria would like to sincerely thank all the past committee members for their contributions in 2015-17 term, and look forward to their ongoing support. Also we would like to welcome new committee members and wish very best for 2017-19 term.
