We were fortunate this year to have the presence of the venerable Lingrik Nyima Lama Rinpoche all the way from Nepal, which definitely made the experience extra special and memorable for everyone. Together with TSV community resident Sanga Lama Indra Bahadur Gurung, he led the attendees to immerse and reflect on the Buddhist wisdom and teachings.

After the vegetarian lunch prepared by TSV Mothers Team, a few regular activities took place –  coloring for the young children, speech competition for teenagers, Mental health information session by Dr Akriti Shrestha, Faith and Monastery by Dr Mohan B Gurung.

Finally, the prize/souvenir/Dakshina distribution and concluding remarks with a thank you note from TSV President Tej Bahadur Gurung ended the official program. A very special thanks goes to the venue provider – Quang Duc Buddhist Monastery, venerable Master Tang, for their kindness and generosity.

The event coordinator duo TSV Mothers Team Lead Anita Gurung and Assistant Secretary Milan Gurung did a great job. A loud shout out to all the volunteers who worked together to really contribute to the success of the event, and continue to be a backbone of TSV community.

Lastly we would like to thank everyone for taking time to reflect together and become a better resilient community member. As always, please feel free to reach out to any executive member for a chit-chat.

Thank you
Tamu Samaj Victoria (Australia)
