TSV ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2019

Event Description :
Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Tamu Samaj Victoria was held from 1pm to 5pm on Sunday 18 Aug 2019 at Cyprus Hall, Brunswick. The venue and lunch/snacks (Momo and drinks) were generously provided by Mr Bam Gurung (The Kathmandu Cottage). Around 33 people, many new faces have attended and contributed to the AGM.
Three sessions were organized as follows:

First Session : Financial Year 2018/19 Activities Reporting
TSV President Mr Pahalman Gurung chaired the meeting, and TSV Cultural Artist Group Coordinator and former Vice-President Mr Mabi Gurung conducted the meeting proceedings as an MC.
1/ TSV activities overview – Secretary Mr Milan Gurung
2/TSV financial reporting – Treasurer Mr Dipu Gurung (with support of Assistant Treasurer Dhan Gurung)
3/ TSV Cultural Centre progress and the Plan in 2019/20 (based on 12/May meeting) – Cultural Centre Coordinator Dr Arun Gurung
4/ TSV magazine update and plan – TSV Magazine Coordinator Dr Mohan Gurung
The AGM approved the activities as presented. The Chair thanked the executive members for their hard work and commitment, and declared their 2-years term to end.
The AGM also proposed and approved Dr Mohan Gurung to conduct the election process as per TSV constitution.

The session and the AGM was concluded by newly elected TSV President Mr Pahalman Gurung with vote of thanks. He also thanked again to Mr Bam Gurung (The Kathmandu Cottage) for the venue and food/drinks in such as notice free of cost.
