Tamu Culture Day + Deusi-Bhailo 2024

Tamu Culture Day and Deusi-Bhailo 2024 was organized by Tamu Samaj Victoria (Australia) community from 1 pm to 6 pm on Saturday 26 October 2024 at Coburg Harriers Athletic Club,  Coburg North VIC 3058, Australia. About 120+ community members across Victoria as well as family visitors from overseas (Nepal) got together to discover, share and celebrate Tamu (Gurung) identity and culture in Melbourne.

TSV Buddha Jayanti 2024 – तमु समाज भिक्टोरिया बुद्ध जयन्ती

Buddha Jayanti 2024 AD (2568th Siddharth Gautam Buddha’s Birthday, he was born in Lumbini, a mid-sourthern part of Nepal) was celebrated by Tamu Samaj Victoria (Australia) community from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday 25 May 2024 at Quang Duc Buddhist Monastery (Vietnamese Community led), Fawkner. More than 250+ attendees young and old from Melbourne Metropolitan came together to mark the occasion.
