Tamu Lho-Chhar “The Year of Rat” Celebrated
By : adminOn the 28th of December (Saturday) 2019, Tamu Samaj Victoria (TSV) celebrated its mega event “Tamu Lho-Chhar 2019” at Estonia House, 43 Melville Road, West Brunswick, Victoria. More than 350 Tamus and other community members from all over Victoria gathered together to farewell “The year of Deer” and welcome “The year of Rat” by exchanging greetings and well wishes.

TSV CELEBRATED TAMU CULTURE DAY 2019

By : adminAnnual General Meeting (AGM) of Tamu Samaj Victoria was held from 1pm to 5pm on Sunday 18 Aug 2019 at Cyprus Hall, Brunswick. The venue and lunch/snacks (Momo and drinks) were generously provided by Mr Bam Gurung (The Kathmandu Cottage). Around 33 people, many new faces have attended and contributed to the AGM.

Buddha Jayanti 2019 (2563rd) Celebrated by TSV
By : adminBuddha Jayanti 2019 AD (2563rd Gautam Buddha’s Birthday) was observed by 120+ adults and children gathered from right across Victoria and some visitors from Nepal. Tamu Samaj Victoria organized the event to mark this auspicious day on 26th May (Sunday) at Harolds Steven Athletic Track, 20 Outlook Road, Coburg North, Victoria. The official program was from 10 am to 4 pm.

Tamu Lho-Chhar “Pho Lho – Year of Deer” Celebrated in Victoria
By : adminTamu Samaj Victoria organized “Lho-Chhar 2019 (“Pho Lho", Year of Deer) on Saturday, 29th December 2018 at Estonia House, 43 Melville Road, West Brunswick, Victoria, Australia. Full house of around 400+ Gurungs (Tamus) and other community members joined in from all over Victoria, interstate as well as guests from Nepal to bid goodbye to “Year of Dog” and welcome “Year of Deer”.
