Assess and Act (A&A) PROJECT LAUNCHING

 

Dear TSV community members,

 

It’s our pleasure to announce, on behalf of Tamu Samaj Victoria (TSV), the launching of “Assess & Act Project” supported by Victorian Government through the Priority Response to Multicultural Communities during Coronavirus (PRMC) program.

 

The project aims to;
– Assess vulnerability of TSV members during the pandemic
– Operate COVID safe way,
– Provide emergency food relief to the vulnerable members
– Create vaccine awareness and
– Conduct mental health and career networking sessions.

 

TSV will reach out to you someway or another through its volunteers some time during the coming six months period.

 

In the mean time, we are urgently seeking a Research Activity Leader (with experience of social science research) and data collectors (within the community) to implement research activity. Student (including International fee paying), youth and women are particularly encouraged.

 

There is a provision of honorarium or allowance for the research leader and volunteers interested in data collections as a part of research activity.

 

Apart from above, TSV also requires community volunteers to deliver health safety materials and food relief packages within Metro Melbourne and Regional Victoria.
