Tamu Samaj Victoria (TSV) has held its AGM on 08/Aug/2026 from 3 to 6 pm at Aurora Reception Brunswick East.

Also in the evening from 6 to 9 pm same day, the TSV community has organized its first ever Gala Dinner to support the TSV Cultural Centre project. The Gala Dinner event was coordinated by Mr Ashok Gurung (Assistant Secretary) and Ms Arati Ghale Gurung (Mothers Team Lead) supported by the TSV Youth Team Choeyang Gurung, Nibon Gurung, and Adi Gurung as MCs. Great performances by in-house local artists such as Suvash Jung Gurung, Rabina Gurung, Aashima Gurung and others entertained the crowd throughout the night.  Games (Bingo and Jar Lollies Guess) run by Choeyang and Adi got all the attendees engaged – needed tie-breaker for the final winner. Dr Mohan B Gurung (TSV Cultural Centre Coordinator) explained the project overview, progress and immediate target for this year. Also as the Editor of TSV annual magazine, he briefed about its importance and called for more support. The TSV Vice-President Ashok K Gurung had opening remarks, and the TSV Mothers Team Lead Ms Arati Ghale Gurung gave closing remarks. The Kathmandu Cottage provided the venue and the catering services.
